China's Datang to delay restart of coal-based PP units

According to market sources, Datang Duolun Coal Chemical Corporation is planning to delay the restart of its coal-based PP units to end of July 2016 from scheduled maintenance due to environmental issues.

Based in Inner Mongolia, China, the company has a No. 1 and No. 2 coal-based PP line with production capacity of 230,00 ton/year each, both mainly producing homo-PP raffia (L5E89) grade. The units have been shut since 30 April 2016 and initial schedule was for 45 days.
