Indonesian producer continues to slash local PP and PE offers
A major local producer in Indonesia has reportedly opened fresh PP and PE offers with additional reductions on the first trading day after the Ramadan holiday while trading sentiment remains soft in this market.

There have been reports that many small-scale manufacturers in the injection molding sector are still off and would only return to work on 20 May 2021, leading to a rather lackluster sentiment in Indonesian market.
“We do not expect buyers to jump straight in to make replenishment. Everyone is monitoring the state of demand in India and China to gauge the market outlook before making decisions,” a market source added.
