Oil hit two-year highs on bullish US economic data
International benchmarks for crude oil rallied on Thursday, 27 May 2021 after data showed a fall in unemployment benefit claims in the US while businesses accelerate spending on equipment in April, signaling the strong economic recovery momentum.
Brent gained 59 cents or 0.9% to $69.46/barrel.
WTI gained 64 cents or 1% to $66.85/barrel.
