Oil gained for the third straight session on positive demand outlook
International benchmarks for crude oil extended the gains for the third straight session on Wednesday, 2 June 2021 on a preliminary report that US crude inventories fell last week, signaling a revival in demand for the summer driving season. The reopening in the EU also fueled the positive expectation.
Brent advanced 49 cents to $71.84/barrel.
WTI rose 44 cents to $69.27/barrel.
