International benchmarks for crude oil edged lower on Wednesday, 9 June 2021 after a report from the EIA showed a drop in the US crude inventories, but gasoline stocks piled up, highlighting the weak demand for summer driving season.
Brent for August delivery settled unchanged at $72.22/barrel.
WTI slipped 9 cents to $69.96/barrel.
