Oil hit multi-year highs on improving global demand outlook
International benchmarks for crude oil settled at the highest levels since October 2018 on Friday, 11 June 2021after the Energy Information Agency remarked that the market would need extra supply next year, while the accelerating vaccination program started to ease the pandemic restrictions.
Brent advanced 17 cents to $72.69/barrel.
WTI increased 62 cents to $70.91/barrel.
