Japan's Tosoh to shut No. 3 VCM unit for maintenance
According to market sources, Tosoh Corporation is planning to shut its No. 3 vinly chloride monomer (VCM) unit by beginning of September 2016 for a scheduled turnaround.
Based in Nanyo, Japan, the No. 3 VCM plant has a production capacity of 600,000 ton/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 45 days.
