EIA: US crude inventories fell for the sixth straight week
In the latest report from the Energy Information Agency, US crude inventories fell 6.7 million barrels to 452.3 million barrels in the week ending 25 June 2021 – the sixth straight falling week as refineries continue to ramp up operating rates.
Refinery utilization rates rose to 92.9% of the total capacity.
Gasoline inventories increased 1.5 million barrels during the week to 241.6 million barrels.
Net US crude imports fell by 603,000 barrels per day.
