Major Thailand lifted PE offers to China

A major Thailand producer has announced fresh PE offers to China today with an increased of $15/t for HDPE compared to end of last month to reach $1165/t for HDPE film and $1175/t for HDPE yarn, CFR China, LC AS term. In addition, the producer also lifted LDPE film offers with and increased of $20/t to reach $1170/t with the same term, shipment on mid to end of August 2016.

A distributor received the new offer and said, “Imported offers recently have continuously firmed up with the support of overall limited supply availability as well as strong futures market, we are not confidence if buyers are willing to accept this offer level as recent weaker currency has added further difficulties for the sales of imported cargoes.”
