International benchmarks for crude oil slumped the most since late May on 6 July 2021 on the strengthening US dollar that makes commodities priced in this currency less attractive to investors. Meanwhile, OPEC+ remained in disagreement regarding the production output, though the negotiations could be reactivated.

Brent fell $2.63 to $74.53/barrel.

WTI slid $1.79 to $73.37/barrel.
