Oil prices slip as EIA warns of slower demand recovery
International benchmarks for crude oil inched lower on Thursday, 12 August 2021 after the Energy Information Agency said the spread of the Delta variant of the coronavirus would hurdle the fuel demand recovery progress.
Brent fell 13 cents to settle at $71.31/barrel.
WTI fell 16 cents to $69.09/barrel.
