Japan's Taiyo to shut PVC unit for maintenance
According to market sources, Taiyo Vinyl Corporation is planning to shut its polyvinyl chloride (PVC) unit for a scheduled turnaround by mid of August 2016.
Based in Chiba, Japan, the PVC plant has a production capacity of 90,000 ton/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 4 weeks and expected to restart by mid of September 2016.
