EIA: US crude inventories fell for the third straight week
The Energy Information Agency on Wednesday, 26 August 2021 released report on the US crude inventories last week, which showed a drop of 3 million barrels to 432.6 million barrels – the lowest level since January 2020.
Refinery utilization rate increased by 0.2 percentage point to 92.4%.
US gasoline stocks fell 2.2 million barrels to 225.92 million barrels, signalling the resilient demand conditions.
Net crude imports to the US rose 426,000 barrels per day during the week.
