Chinese bidders continue to scour the competitive cargoes on the Shenhua auction platform on the final trading day of the week as the producer agreed to a minor discount on homo-PP parcels.
Traders have yet to find solutions to the storage and cross-province delivery issues. Meanwhile, port congestions and rising ocean freight rates are hurdling export businesses.

Chinese bidders rush back to the market to secure the cargoes on the Shenhua auction platform after the 5% surge in crude oil prices spurred expectations that sellers would attempt to lift prices further.
This is the first time since 3 March the domestic stocks fell below the 900,000 tons threshold and it is not because of an uptick in demand but from the mass operating rates adjustments since the beginning of the month.

Transactions on the Shenhua auction platform fell sharply as the market reacted to the news of more cities entering lockdown.
In the upstream market, both MEG and PTA rebounded slightly this week from the previous dip, following the upstream energy market.
