The domestic spot market continues to gallop lower this week regardless of the stabilising import offers. However, sellers seem to have found the acceptance levels for homo-PP yarn grade as a brief dive resulted in a satisfactory sales result.

The Indonesian import homo-PP yarn market fell below the $1200/ton benchmark for the first time since June 2021 as South Korean sellers aggressively pushed out cargoes ahead of the year-end closing.
While the downward pressure in the import ground remains in place, domestic suppliers decided to hold spot offers largely stable from the previous week following the rebound in the energy complex.
