International benchmarks for crude oil settled higher on Thursday, 23 September 2021 following the EIA report of a sharp draw in US crude inventories and concerns over supply outlook as many oil platforms in the US Gulf remain shut after two hurricanes. 

Brent hit a two-month high, gaining $1.06 or 1.4%, at $77.25/barrel.

WTI rose $1.07 or 1.5% to close at $73.30/barrel.
