According to the latest data from the Energy Information Agency (EIA), the commercial crude inventories in the US dropped 910,000 barrels in the week ending 26 November 2021, to 433.1 million barrels.

However, the gasoline stock rose as much as 4 million barrels, which industry experts attributed to the holiday drop in demand. 

Refinery utilization rates increased 0.2 percentage points to 88.8%.
