Domestic producer continues lifting PP offers in Indonesia, keeps PE stable to soft
For the second time since the beginning of January, a key local producer in Indonesia implemented increases on spot PP cargoes citing the tightening availability due to delayed in import arrivals and production disruptions at local plants.

However, there are limited changes in terms of trading sentiment. Sources said that buyers refrain from making new purchases when they are unable to lift end-product selling prices.
“Sales are sluggish. Customers have mostly replenished in the previous week, hence prefer to wait on the sideline for now. Everyone is watching out if demand could catch up with the rapid price hikes. We haven’t seen any key movement in pre-Ramadan replenishment,” a local trader added.
