Indian government completed anti-dumping investigation on import LDPE, market awaits implementation date
The Indian authorities have concluded the anti-dumping investigation on the import of LDPE to the country from various origins including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and the United States of America.
In the final finding published in the government gazette, the authorities recommended the exemption of anti-dumping duties on the import of LDPE from all producers from four countries: UAE, Qatar, Korea, and Malaysia.

Once implemented, the anti-dumping duties would remain valid for three to five years. Market players speculated that the government will announce the implementation date in two to four weeks from the date the final finding is published.
