Taiwan's FPC to bring forward scheduled turnaround on its No. 2 cracker
According to market sources, Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPC) will be bringing forward the scheduled turnaround of its No. 2 cracker to 11 July 2022 due to poor production margin.
Based in Mailiao, Taiwan, the plant is able to produce 1.035 million tons/year of ethylene and 520,000 tons/year of propylene. The turnaround was being brought a month earlier than initial planning.
