China’s Wanhua Petrochemical to shut LLDPE unit in July
Other production units including a 350,000 tons/year HDPE line, completed maintenance work earlier this month.
Wanhua Petrochemical is scheduled to carry out a brief maintenance shutdown at its LLDPE plant in Yantai City, Shandong province as part of the annual overhaul. According to market sources, the unit will be offline for about 10 days in July without a specific date revealed.
The LLDPE unit has an annual capacity of 450,000 tons/year and is part of an integrated petrochemical complex.
Other production units including a 350,000 tons/year HDPE line, completed maintenance work earlier this month. Also at the same complex is a steam cracker that produces 1 million tons/year of ethylene and 530,000 tons/year of propylene.
