UPDATE: China's Sinochem Quanzhou conducted trial run at HDPE plant

Market sources reported that China’s Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical has successfully conduct trial production on its HDPE plant yesterday.

Based in Quanzhou, Fujian province, the HDPE plant has a production capacity of 450,000 tons/year.

A source closed to the company informed that their 1 million tons/year cracker is expected  to startup around mid of September 2020, hence PP and PE new plants shall be around October period, yesterday was just the trial run for HDPE granulator. In addition, the new plants also include a 200,000 tons/year LDPE line and a 350,000 tons/year PP line.
