Vietnam’s Nghi Son restarted PP plant after an unscheduled shutdown

Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical has restarted the PP unit in Vietnam late last week following a 10 days unscheduled shutdown starting 7 September 2020 due to a persistent technical issue.
The 370,000 tons/year line has been able to stabilize the operating rates at the time of this report.
On another note, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical is planning a major overhaul at the PP unit in June 2021 and the entire complex would be shut in 2023 for maintenance.
