Emergency shutdown at China's Shenhua Xinjiang PP, LDPE plants
Market sources reported that Shenhua Xinjiang Co Ltd has unexpectedly shut its PP and PE plants due to technical glitches on its pipeline today.
Based in Xinjiang, China, the plants consist of a 450,000 tons/year PP line and a 300,000 tons/year LDPE line. Both are expected to remain off-stream for 7 days.
