China's Jinneng successfully conduct trial run on new PP plant

Market sources reported that Jinneng Chemical (Qingdao) Co Ltd has successfully conduct trial production of its new PP plant since 27 July 2021.

Based in the Industrial Park of Qihe County, Shandong Province, China, the company has a 900,000 tons/year PDH plant and a 450,000 tons/year PP plant.

The company is aiming to achieve commercial on-spec PP production around this week, whereby players expecting cargoes shall be able to be available in the market by next month. In addition, the company also have planning of high performance PP plants start-up phase 2, with total capacity of 1.6 million tons/year (2 lines with 350,000 tons/year each and 2 lines with 450,000 tons/year each, all are producing high end specialty PP cargoes),  the actual start-up date were unknown at the moment  awaiting for further confirmation
