Oil extended rally on US inventories reports
International benchmarks for crude oil rose more than 1% on Wednesday, 25 August 2021 following reports from the EIA showing a reduction in both crude and gasoline inventories in the US last week, underlining the recovering demand.
Brent gained $1.20 or 1.7% to close at $72.25/barrel.
WTI rose 82 cents or 1.2% to settle at $68.36/barrel.
