China to lower import duties for 883 products, including polyolefins
Pemerintah China mengumumkan penurunan bea masuk atas 883 produk mulai 1 Januari 2020 untuk memenuhi permintaan lokal dan mendorong perekonomian lokal. Produk ini akan menikmati tarif 3%, yang sebelumnya 6,5%.
Beberapa produk petrochemical termasuk grade electrical PP homo dan PE dengan harga di atas $ 3800/ton CFR China. Dengan perkembangan tersebut, diperkirakan tidak akan berdampak di pasar komoditas PP dan PE.
